🌊 Discounted Rafting Trips – Available all weekend!
The Lower New River, in the heart of the New River Gorge National Park, is a favorite for first-time rafters and whitewater enthusiasts alike. This class II-IV section of whitewater has large shelf drops and boulders- a perfect combination of waves and hydraulics that make for world-class rafting. The Lower New River Rapid Run (~3 hour trip, no lunch) available daily at 8:00am and 1:00pm.
On Saturday & Sunday, whitewater enthusiasts and novices alike flock to the Gauley River to take part in Gauley Season. And while the Upper Gauley is world renowned as one of the most intense commercial rafting trips one can experience, the Lower Gauley offers scenic tranquility, punctuated by long, roller coaster wave trains. Separately, these two river sections offer vastly different experiences, allowing (just about) everybody to raft the Gauley River. Upper Gauley Full Day (6-7 hours + riverside lunch) has trips starting between 6:30-9:30am. Upper Gauley Express Trip (~5 hours, no lunch) starts at 6:30am. Lower Gauley Full Day (~7 hours + riverside lunch) starts between 9:30-11:00am.
