With the best view in West Virginia this is the restaurant you don't want to miss. We also have the best burgers around—locally sourced, certified Angus—and a whole lot more... right smack dab on the rim of the 900-foot deep New River Gorge.

The laid-back casual atmosphere of his namesake restaurant offers a huge deck overlooking the New River Gorge and multiple large-screen TVs. With a menu stacked with burgers and sandwiches to seafood, vegetable dishes and appetizers, plus weekend specials, Chetty's is perfect for grabbing appetizer, a pub sandwich or just a frosty beverage to wash down your latest adventure. It's our only year-round restaurant, so come in and enjoy the atmosphere anytime.

Chester Wayne "Chetty" Morton, bus driver and mechanic extraordinaire, became Class VI 's first bus driver in 1978 as part of the package deal when they purchased a 1949 GMC transit bus from Oak Hill City Lines. At an age when most people begin retirement, Chetty started an 18 year stint with Class VI. His favorite bus, No. 6, a 1965 GMC coach, was part of our fleet until 2001, until we sold it to a movie studio for its role in the 1991 movie, A Rage in Harlem. Chetty passed away in February 2004 at the age of 90. We will always remember him fondly for his smile and the many history lessons he gave.
